Description

When using the Optional Adapter Brackets, add 1-1/4″ (1.25in) to minimum and 2″ to maximum (2in).

For example:

A standard LSG-15 without adapter brackets fits an opening range of 13-3/4″ to 17-1/2″. However if you required an adapter bracket; you will have to accommodate the width of the adapter as well. So when using an adapter kit on the LSG-15 the opening range changes to 15″ to 19-1/2″

This product’s sole purpose is to allow attachment of the LSG – Ladder Safety Gates to large or unique railing systems.

The adapter kit is completely optional and should only be considered when connecting the LSG to angle iron, flat bar, large pipe or any other nonstandard railing system.

The PS Doors LSG – Ladder safety gates ship fully assembled and come pre-packed with standard mounting hardware for round pipe ( up to 2″ O.D ) or square tubing ( up to 1.5″ X 1.5″ O.D ).

Mounting hardware included with purchase of Ladder Safety Gate. Large Pipe Railing, Round pipe <2″ to 3.75″ outside diameter (O.D.) or square tubing <1.5″ x 1.5″ to 3″ x 3″ outside diameter (O.D.) Gate mounts directly to existing railing system (hardware not included) or by purchasing a Large Pipe Adapter Bracket. Angle Iron, up to 3.75″, 1/4″ max thickness Gate mounts directly to existing railing system (hardware not included) or by purchasing Angle Iron Adapter Bracket. Flat Bar, up to 4″ Gate mounts directly to existing railing system (hardware not included) or by purchasing a Flat Bar Adapter Bracket.
