FR89 Fire Resistant Shirt – Portwest

Description

The FR89 is made from “Bizflame 88/12” – a blend of 88% cotton and 12% nylon. The high cotton content in the material allows the garment to remain soft and supple while the nylon provides strength and resistant to abrasion.

“Bizflame 88/12” is than treated for fire resistance which is guaranteed to last throughout the lifetime of the garment ( 50 washes ).

Washing Instructions

• Do not use soap or soap powder or bleach
• Use detergents
• Machine wash hot
• Do not boil
• Tumble dry low

Fire Resistant Properties

• ARC2 – Individual must wear an arc rated FR shirt, and FR pants, or FR Coverall with an arc rating of of at least 8 cal/cm²
• Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV): 11.2 cal/cm²
• HAF: 80.4%
